Floods and mudslides, flooding by rising water table, earthquakes, landslides (excluding geotechnical drought) and cyclonic winds… Published in Official newspaper on December 14, 2021, an order recognizes the state of natural disaster for nearly 127 municipalities located in 42 departments for events that occurred between June and December 2016, between June 2018 and December 2020 and between January 2021 and October 2021.
The victims have 10 days after the publication of the decree in the Official newspaper to make the declaration to their insurer with a view to taking charge of the settlement of the claim. The municipalities subject to a declaration of a state of natural disaster are listed in Annex I of the decree of November 22, 2021
recognizing the state of natural disaster for the risk and at the periods indicated.

Recall : The state of natural disaster is a guarantee put in place by the State since 1982 in order to compensate the victims of rare natural episodes (drought, violent storms, floods, mudslides, avalanches, earthquakes, etc.). This results in by-laws that determine the areas and periods where the damage occurred.
