Crucial is thinking big with the X8 series by promising the highest speeds in the segment (1 GB/s). The brand also wants to be reassuring by promising that its external SSDs are also resistant.

The Crucial X8 offers a particularly convincing performance. Although it is not the most compact in its category, it offers a flow rate that is both high and stable. The hull is also of high quality, resistant to both scratches and falls.

Light, small and above all fast, the Samsung T5 500 GB is an external SSD of choice, displaying a very good quality/price ratio. A little slower than its 1 TB big brother, it nevertheless ranks among the best. It is only criticized for the lack of a storage system for USB cables.
