Season 2 ofInvinciblethe superhero series from Amazon, is revealed in a meta teaser that dates its return.
If today’s superhero cinema may seem very sad with its MCU raking in billions of dollars at the box office, fortunately a few various productions regularly come to refresh the landscape of colorful capes and underpants. The Boys, Joker, Spider-Man: Next Generation… regularly, exciting productions drawn from superheroic universes thwart certain norms and expectations that would tend to be imposed on the general public.
The Amazon Series Invincible, created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, is one of them. With its violent narrative, its abundant mythology and its pop and colorful aesthetic, Invincible has largely established itself as one of the best series of 2021, for Large Screen. What to look forward to a season 2, which should not be long according to the recent teaser unveiled by Amazon :
In this teaser, we find Mark Grayson (still voiced by Steven Yeun) and Allen the Alien (Seth Rogen) in a meta sketch that nicely justifies the two years of waiting with almost no news from season 2 of the series. This time, it’s official, Invincible season 2 should land on our small screens at the end of 2023.
A delay finally not so long seen the workload involved in making an animated seriesespecially compared to the first season which was announced in the summer of 2018 and finally released in March 2021. As a reminder, the first part ofInvincible told the story of a teenager who develops superpowers and who decides to follow in the footsteps of his parent, the most powerful superhero in the world.
The Hero’s Return
The series is adapted from a comic by the same trio Kirkman, Walker and Ottley, which lasted for 15 years and ended in 2018.
